The technology of the Switch Reluctance (SR) Motor is also the heart of the electric powertrains from Punch Powertrain. Due to its balanced torque characteristic the SR motors from Punch Powertrain only require a single ratio. This allows a simple and robust gearbox design. For this transfer case Punch Powertrain opted for a flexible solution allowing one or two motors on a single transfer case.
